The Ten Commandments are a hotly debated subject. Claimed by some to have been "done away with" by Jesus; others deny their historical significance on Western law and judiciary; and yet others only claim merit and relevance for just nine of them.

And yet, these simple and elegantly scripted commandments, written by the very finger of Jesus, and affirmed by Jesus in his teachings and life here on earth, are the starting point of Godly behaviour. They help us to live a life of morality; a life of love for God and love for each other.

The Ten Commanments emphasise the sanctity of life, the respect of others, and the bringing of every thought into subjection to Christ. When internalised, rather than through external enforcement, they liberate, promote a long and good life, and bless others all around.
